I disagree with this, If man did not exist, things would still move from the past toward the future. The fact is that there is a dirrection of time (times arrow) from past to future. And this is directly linked to entropy.

if that's the case, for how long did he exist in nothingness. If always, than an infinite amount of time would have to pass before creation, Unless by nothingness you mean that time didn't exist either. Then to say God is eternal makes no sense, since time itself would have a begining.

So if an infinite amount of events had to take place before he created the universe he could not have created it, no more than we can count to infinity. So either God didn't create the Universe or God is not eternal. Any thoughts?

i haven't been inside a kingdumb hall since a funeral i went to a couple years ago, but right when i walked in, it was the same smell.

I faded quickly, after finding out about the UN and a few other things I wrote the society after going to an elder who had never heard of it and had no answers. After receiving the letter from the society which answered none of my questions, and justified the actions of the society I knew my time going to meetings was quickly comming to an end, then the Question from Readers which said the annointed had no special access to God. So we are listening to men, no two ways about it, from their own literature. So i decieded that, as the bible says, i need to work out my own salvation and i can't rely on men to do that for me.

yesterday i called a family on the west coast that were in my congregation 18 years ago.
between parents, kids and marriage partners, there were six of them who had been witnesses.
they have all faded, and have had nothing to do with the witnesses for at least 15 year or more.. yet, none of them is in any way active even in looking at the ex-jw sites online.

Well I not a newbie, but i'm here because at some point i expect that this fading thing i'm doing is not going to work out and i will have to answer for my actions. I just want to defend my position. And while i know what it is i believe, it's not that easy to convince others. But some of the posts here are so logical its hard to deny. So i come to learn how to state thing in such a way as to convince others.
